• Created week seven's log webpage.
• Updated on the Research Method webpage. (Purchased a Visual Basic tips book)
• Read the VB book and try out some program functions like Chr, For, If, Case, etc.
• Did a search for any existing web validator for reference in theInternet.
• Read more tips from the Visual Basic Programmer's book.
• Had 4th meeting with Mr Tralvex Yeap.

Details of 4th meeting:

1. Project name as changed to "Towards an Autonomous Bibliography Building Agent".
2. Given three task to be completed by end of our attachment : - 1. Web Validator, 2. Report on "Issues surrounding the building of Project ABBA" and 3. New Robocup Papers Watch.
3. Web Validator - to continue with where we had left off since 14th August 1998. We are to add features like an error log stating the date, time, source URL as well as a listing of bad hyperlinks. Another feature which will interact with the previous feature is a source modifier that will include a " *BAD* " at the front of each bad hyperlink in the website.
4. To produce a report on the "Issues surrounding the building of Project ABBA". Here, we are to do research from sources either from the Internet or Books on how to build an Autonomous Bibliography Building Agent. Topics can include Text Mining, Information Retrieval or Neural Networks.
5. NEW Robocup papers Watch
   • Look out for new Robocup Papers from the links in the ROBOCUP BIBLIOGRAPHY.
   • Download the postscript(file)
   • Rename the file format to the given standard format given by Tralvex which will use the surname of the authors.
   • Zip the file up and append it into the given directory in new.zip.

• Wrote email to Mrs Ho-Tan Liang Gek informing her of the details of the 4th meeting.
