Research Methods - Program/Software Used

The following are the types of programs and software that I had used either to create this webpage or do my research on my project topic. An introduction is published about them so do click on each of these links and find out more.

Name of Program/Software		Purpose
1.	Adobe Photoshop 5.0	To create and edit my graphics found in my webpages as well as graphics obtained for my some of my other tasks.
2.	Ghostview	To help me view documents downloaded for my WebWatch task on new RoboCup papers.
2.	Internet Explorer 4.0	To upload and view my webpages. View and search for project sites and other information are also done using IE 4.0.
3.	Microsoft FrontPage 98	To create my webpages which is an on-going task throughout my attachment.
4.	Microsoft WinWord	To write my all my documents which includes the learning log, attachment report, Robocup bibliography, issues surrounding building of ABBA, etc.
5.	Netscape Communicator	To view my webpages all there are differences between IE and Netscape. (Just for comparison)
6.	Netscape Composer	To amend some minor changes and add "targets" to the webpages. (Seldom used as I had learnt how to write the source code for targets - internal links)
7.	Visual Basic 5.0	To create our project which is a Web URL Validator or known as "WebVat".
8.	WebFerret	To search the Internet websites for information and materials. (An external search engine)
